About the Author
Felicity Shoulders was born in Portland, Oregon. She pursued geology and paleontology for many years, as well as playing the oboe, studying history and reading herself into premature presbyopia. Late in college, she decided to devote herself to writing rather than become a scientist. She writes across genres and across the awkward gaps in them, jumping from realism to speculative fiction to modern fairy tales. She recently received a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Pacific University's low-residency program.
